We are definitely stronger together. With each other's support we can reach incredible goals and make the impossible happen.
These are 5 ways how we can support, motivate and inspire each other:
1. Show up for each other.
Be understanding of each other's situations and do not criticise. Who can understand us better than another woman? Be open-minded and ready to listen, whether it’s your friend, colleague, neighbour or just an acquaintance. You can make such a change for a woman who just needs to be listened, heard and understood. This could change a world for someone and be that one life-time inspiration or comfort that she needs.
2. Support business-women.
Following one’s dreams is an exciting and yet challenging journey. We can all support each other by acquiring each other’s service or goods or promoting each other’s business. This can give a great start to someone’s entrepreneurship, career and even be a life-changer.
3. Praise women.
How often do you complement other women for their qualities? We all sometimes need to feel valued for what we do and who we are. And this often has the same effect whether it comes from our family, our boss, our friends, colleagues or any other people in our life. Use every chance to tell a woman how smart, kind, intelligent, brave and special she is. Show a woman her strengths and you may be the reason she will believe in herself and be empowered to chase her dreams.
4. Collaborate with women.
We often tend to see each other as competition. But we are way stronger together. There are always ways you can collaborate and actually double or triple the forces to help each other succeed. Look for these opportunities and when offered, consider them with gratitude as a great way to upscale your network and build strong and reliable connections.
5. Protect women.
Do not walk away from a woman who needs support or protection and do not let women be oppressed or anyhow discriminated. Each and every one of us has a voice and we need to use it. Speak up for yourself and for each other to ensure women are heard.
